I offer two build options V1 (version one) and V2 (version two) which utilize different valve blocks. V1 is the one piece all brass casing and is the standard for Thane cornet builds. The V2 is built on the slightly heavier two piece bronze/nickel casing. This adds a little core to the sound and makes the instrument play very secure and stable. The V1 has a little more flexibility in playability and while it also has good solid slotting it tends to have a little more fluidity and more of the traditional 'cornet' feel.
